Save. In my opinion Antalya has better beaches--most certainly the public beaches. Bodrum (both city and peninsula) are famed for nightlife considered among the best on the Mediterranean/Aegean shores. Antalya is most popular with Russians and eastern Europeans while Bodrum finds mainly British, western Europeans and Turks.

Kas is a small picturesque very Turkish village.Along a very scenic road is Kalkan which is a very good place for top class restaurants.Patara beach is also not to far away.Draw back is the long drive from the airports.Bodrum is a vibrant small city on the Bodrum peninsula.There are many lovely places to visit around the peninsula easily reached by dolmus.It is about 40 mins from Bodrum
